Debbie O’Connor was born and raised in Ottawa and lived in the east end for over 20 years before moving to Toronto to obtain her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School. Proud of her Irish heritage, Debbie was especially proud to be able to spend a semester of law school at Trinity College in Dublin.

Prior to attending law school, Debbie worked for many years as a real estate and corporate law clerk. Debbie was called to the bar in 2004 and practiced law in Toronto before returning to Ottawa in 2005 where she worked with the law firm of Dust, Evans.

Debbie later became a partner with Nelligan O’Brien Payne LLP, where she gained extensive experience working in the areas of Real Estate and Development and Condominium Law.

Debbie offers clients her significant expertise in all areas of commercial and residential real estate, including single family homes, townhouses, condominiums, multi-unit buildings, financing, and secured transactions, and cottage conveyancing.

She is also experienced in commercial leasing, contract drafting and negotiations, and complex title issues.

Debbie is an effective advocate and her attention to detail, her dedication, and her ability to resolve issues while working efficiently ensure that her clients are well served.

Debbie was honoured to receive the Business Excellence award for Professional of The Year, presented by the Orleans Chamber of Commerce.
